Parkvale's interesting presentations include:
- a walk around the factory premises, with a look inside some of the growing rooms.
- a demonstration of some of the machinery and what their uses are.
- an informative description of the growing procedure from the making of the compost through to distribution of our superb product into the homes of the purchasing public.
- a view of the lovely gardens here at Parkvale, established with the use of our excellent mushroom compost.
- upon completion of the tour, we will take you into the packing and distribution area, where you will have the opportunity to purchase some Parkvale Gourmet Brown mushrooms. We have a very good selection of complementary recipes that we will encourage you to take at this point.
Alternatively, if you are a small group or have an individual query, and are here purchasing some of our product, please feel free to ask any of the packing room staff to show you one of our growing rooms. A brief growing description can usually be arranged as well, and some of your questions answered, depending on who is available at short notice to assist.
